The implementation of the exhibition project became possible thanks to the joint efforts of the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Russian Federation, the Authorized Representative Office of Diplomats of Kyrgyzstan in Russia, as well as the general sponsor of the exhibition and the publication of the catalog, the Alliance Altyn company.
The Pomegranate Garden project dates back to 2015 with a series of works "When does the pomegranate bloom?" created for The Ritz-Carlton Moscow. Over the years, the collection has developed into a large-scale international art project, bringing together exhibitions in Monaco, Moscow, Tbilisi, Istanbul and Bishkek.
The opening of the exhibition brought together representatives of the diplomatic corps, government agencies, business, culture and art. Among the honored guests of the event were Director of the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts named after Gapar Aitiev Aigul Toktobekovna Mambetkazieva, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Kyrgyz Republic Latif Seifaddin oglu Gandilov, Chairman of the Council of the Assembly of the People of Kyrgyzstan Meder Rahman, Director of the Kyrgyz National Academic Drama Theater named after T. Abdumomunova Asylbek Abazovich Ozubekov, Deputy General Director of Alliance Altyn Maxim Gennadievich Khromov, representatives of government agencies, the diplomatic corps, representatives of business, the artistic community and the media.
A special event was the participation in the opening of the exhibition of Askar Chingizovich and Eldar Chingizovich Aitmatov. The presence of representatives of Chingiz Aitmatov's family gave the event a special symbolic significance, emphasizing the importance of cultural dialogue between the peoples of Central Asia and the role of art in preserving humanistic values.
A special place in the work of Alexander Dilbazi is occupied by the image of a pomegranate — a symbol of life, love, memory, fertility and cultural continuity. Over the years, the artist has been exploring this image through painting, creating his own visual language in which philosophy is combined with fine art.
Alexander Dilbazi is the founder of the author's artistic and philosophical direction Filart, whose birth was first announced on July 25, 2025 at the exhibition-performance "The Play of Looks in the Pomegranate Garden" at the Moscow Art Maison gallery.
In an interview held during the opening of the exhibition, the artist noted:
"The collection itself is changing. Each new exhibition fills me with new energy, new thoughts and impressions. I'm changing along with the collection. These are new cities, new people, new emotions."
On June 16, as part of the exhibition, Nargiz Satayeva, an art critic at the museum, gave a special lecture on the work of Alexander Dilbazi and the philosophical foundations of the Philart direction. The meeting was held with the participation of the artist and aroused great interest among museum visitors.
The Bishkek exhibition has become an important stage in the international development of the Pomegranate Garden project. Each new country hosting the exhibition brings its own cultural voice to it, while preserving the common idea of mutual understanding, creativity and cultural dialogue. Today, the Pomegranate Garden continues its journey around the world, uniting people of different cultures through the language of art, philosophy and beauty.
