This evening, guests gathered here on the occasion of the closing of the first part of the 18th Istanbul Biennale. Artist Alexander Dilbazi presented a chamber exhibition of 13 works that had been shown a few days earlier as part of the biennale itself.

Tomorrow he had to act in a different role — as a speaker at the oil and gas forum. Who is he today: a businessman, an artist, an analyst, a speaker? Like his paintings from the "Game" collection, he easily changes masks and images. For him, life is a game where the line between the viewer, the author and the work is blurred, and what is happening turns into a subtle performance. Here, the audience themselves become participants in the action.

When the guests had left — it was well after midnight — the artist, left with two spectators, said: "The evening is over. But the game continues."

With these words, he stepped out into the night to appear the next day in a new role — no longer an artist, but a speaker.
