On October 27, 2021, the Pomegranate Festival was held in Moscow. The author of the idea is an artist, entrepreneur and public figure Alexander Dilbazi. The festival was organized in the CASPIAN cultural and gastronomic space together with the Ginza Project restaurant chain with the participation of Maxim Polzikov, Partner and General Director of Ginza Project Moscow.
On this day, one of the most beautiful mansions of the old Arbat turned into a pomegranate garden, where delicious dishes of Azerbaijani cuisine were served under the leadership of brand chef Bakhtiyar Aliyev.
As part of the holiday, an exhibition of paintings by artist Alexander Dilbazi "When the pomegranate blooms" was opened. The exhibited collection of paintings is dedicated to the fruit of the pomegranate tree and the pomegranate garden, where the crowned king of all fruit trees, the pomegranate, fascinates with its power, grandeur and beauty. The collection "When does pomegranate Blossom?" of 15 paintings was created in 2015 specifically for The Ritz Carlton Hotel in Moscow and was exhibited there from 2015 to 2020 as a permanent exhibition. Over the following years, the collection has grown into a large series of 120 paintings traveling the world. The artist presented 41 works in the CASPIAN space.
The festival's musical accompaniment was prepared by Moscow pianist Yuri Rozum and fashion DJ Adam Colts.
Politicians, businessmen, representatives of the creative intelligentsia, teachers of the Lomonosov Moscow State University, honorary doctors of the I. M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University, teachers, restaurateurs, bloggers and many others became guests of the festival. The most honored guest of the festival was the world-famous mugham King Alim Gasimov, who was presented with one of the paintings presented at the exhibition called "Three Sisters" – music, dance and painting.
